Every device we sell is tested before it leaves our store, and every sale is backed by a written warranty. This page explains what is covered, what is not, and how to make a claim.
Your warranty at a glance
- Brand-new products carry the manufacturer's warranty. We help you claim it.
- UK-used, refurbished, open-box and pre-owned products carry the Business Hub Computers warranty.
- The length of your warranty is shown on the product page when you buy and is printed on your receipt. The receipt is your proof of warranty, so please keep it.
- The warranty starts on the date of delivery or collection.
What the warranty covers
- Faults in the hardware that appear during normal use and were not caused by damage or misuse, for example a failed motherboard, screen, keyboard, storage drive, memory or charging circuit.
- A device that arrives not working, or not matching the description on your receipt.
- Accessories supplied in the box (such as the charger), for faults present within the warranty period stated for accessories on your receipt.
What the warranty does not cover
- Physical damage: cracked or pressure-marked screens, broken hinges or casing, dents, bent ports.
- Liquid damage, corrosion, or damage from dust, insects, fire or smoke.
- Electrical damage from power surges, unstable supply, generators without protection, or the wrong charger. We strongly recommend a surge protector or UPS.
- Software problems: viruses, forgotten passwords, operating-system or application faults, and loss of data. Please back up your data — we are not responsible for data on a device handed in for repair.
- Normal wear of consumable parts: batteries losing capacity with age, keyboard and trackpad wear, printer ink, toner and drums, projector lamps.
- A device that has been opened, repaired, upgraded or modified by anyone other than our technicians, or whose warranty seal or serial number has been removed or altered.
- Damage in transit when you arrange your own courier.
How to make a claim
- Contact us as soon as you notice the fault. Call or WhatsApp +234 803 394 1858, email businesshubby@gmail.com, or open a ticket from the Support page.
- Give us your receipt or order number and describe the fault. A short video helps.
- Bring the device to our store, or send it to us with its charger. We will tell you how.
- Our technicians inspect it, normally within 48 hours of receiving it, and tell you the outcome.
What we will do
- Repair the fault at no charge, or
- Replace the device with the same model or one of equal or better specification if it cannot be repaired, or
- Refund you under our Refund Policy if neither is possible.
A repaired or replaced device keeps the remainder of the original warranty period.
Faults outside the warranty
If the fault is not covered, or the warranty has ended, we can still repair the device. We will give you a quote first and do nothing until you agree.
Dropship products
Products marked Dropship are supplied by a partner company but are sold and warranted by Business Hub Computers. Claims are made to us in exactly the same way; a repair or replacement may take longer because the partner is involved.
Your legal rights
This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 and does not limit them.
